Pawpaw Sauce began with a recipe our dad perfected over years of family barbecues — long summer afternoons, the smell of smoke in the air, and everyone gathered around the grill waiting for that first rack of ribs.
His granddaughters called him Pawpaw, and after years of hearing "Pass the Pawpaw Sauce" around the table, the name became part of our family.
Those cookouts were never really about the food — they were about the laughter, the stories, and the time spent together. The sauce just happened to be the thing everyone remembered.
